Day Nine: Down Day about Town

Palmerston North from the local lovers lane - historically and quaintly called "Pork Chop Hill" by the locals, but really called ANZAC Park!

Yvette likes taking pictures of flowers.

A view of the Rose Garden from the raised section

The Wintergarden conservatory

Jazz and I had fun feeding the ducks, while Yvette fed the sparrows.

Sherm Pic: Chicken Curry from the Caravan. It was very tasty!

The Aviary

Buying lunch out of a caravan. (Thats a trailer to us)

No, it's not just a hair style

Yes, I'm hanging laundry. Got a problem with that? =)

Today was a day off from riding. We did some shopping for a few necessities, and wandered downtown alone for a bit. We picked up some nice gifts for relatives back home and generally relaxed. We purchased some lunch out of a caravan and Jazz took us to the Victoria Esplanade to have lunch. Jazz had brought the leftover toast from breakfast and we had fun feeding the ducks and the sparrows. We wandered the aviary and the conservatory (the Wintergarden) then headed out to look at the local motorcycle shops. We made it home in time to spend some time with Rosie before dinner, and spent the evening just relaxing.
