Day one, part two: walkabout in town, riding on the left...

Gratuitous sheep picture for Toa. (And a few Canadians, I'm told.)

The top of the Pahiatua track.

The top of the Pahiatua track.

Going down the highway.

Our first ride, on the other side of the road!

Intrepid explorers ready to go.

Getting geared up.

Trying to figure out a new fastening system.

The bikes in front of the 'boys room'. (A blokes shed)

Howard and Rosie's house.

We came all this way.....

A refreshing stop on our walk-about.

Yvette loved this little car.

Gratuitous food shot for Sherm.

Close up pic of us at the war memorial.

Us at the base of the war memorial.

The CENOTAPH war memorial in the center of the square. Notice the clock tower behind the statue. It used to have a cross on top, but the PC crowd complained so the box structure was build, however the sharp eyed will still see a cross...

A very strange looking duck that would not look at Yvette. I guess that would make it a Chicken Duck...

This used to be The Grand Hotel where Queen Elisabeth once stayed, but is now where Howard's office resides.

An old church that is now the Abbey theater.
